New Communication NHS App

We’re reaching out to inform you about a new way we’ll be communicating with you – the NHS Messaging App. This app will allow us to securely and efficiently send important messages, appointment reminders/cancellations, and health information directly to your mobile device.

To ensure you receive these updates from us, we kindly ask you to do the following:Enable Notifications: please allow notifications so that you’re alerted whenever you receive a new message from us.Update Your Email Address: We will also use your registered email address to share relevant updates. Please ensure we have your current email address in our records.

As part of a nationwide digital revolution, where patients will receive all appropriate NHS communication through the NHS App, before SMS communications and then by letter as a last resort. Those without smartphones will benefit from landline phone lines being freed up, and accessible communication will continue for those without phone access, with specific requirements, and elderly patients
